Project mc2 is a show on Netflix. It is based on 4 super smart girls who use their love of science to take on missions – how cool is that?
Not only is it an amazing show they even have some amazing toys to go with it, we were lucky enough to be sent one of their Experiment Dolls.
Not only do you receive the doll, dressed to impress but it also comes with a project to complete. Helping kids learn through play with S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths).
There are so many you can get but we chose McKeyla’s Glue Tattoo because Pops is really into temporary tattoos at the moment.
The doll is 12″ and She comes in a unicorn inspired costume with head accessory, mask and comb.
The experiment pieces you receive are a make up brush, mixing bucket and 8 stencils, to complete the project you will also need some glue, food colouring and glitter (optional but who wouldn’t want to add glitter?)
Pops has been covered in glue and food colouring before so I know it is okay on her skin but make sure you check your littles ones skin first!
To make the tattoo you mix the glue with food colouring in the mixing bucket, then with the brush apply it onto the skin through the stencil once on the skin you can add a little sparkle!
There’s so much to love about project mc2 – not only do they show our girls how bad ass they can be but they encourage learning and how being smart is cool too… something a lot of shows aimed at girls don’t tend to do.
Pops will love making her own tattoos and I love that it’s so simple it’s something we can do over and over again.
Have you seen Project MC2? Which of the girls are your favourite?
Until the next post,
Are and Pops.
