This year for Pops’ birthday I didn’t have a clue what to get her. The house is FULL to the brim of toys and although I knew it was unlikely she wouldn’t get non toy presents we tried to think outside the box.
We wanted more crafty an educational things.
What 2 buy 4 kids got in touch with their Make Your Own Chocolate Pizza Kit (use AREPOP218 for 10% off) and I knew it would be a hit.
Chocolate. You can’t go wrong with chocolate!
When the kit arrived I was so impressed, it even comes its own pizza box!
What comes inside the box?
– pizza tin mould
– milk chocolate ‘buttons;
-white choc flakes
– smarties (non branded)
This kit is SO simple to make and perfect to do with little ones. It would make for an amazing rainy day activity!
Melt the milk chocolate and spread into the tin, while its still melted add your toppings.
We didn’t end up using all of the white curls because there was so many but add as much as you would like and then the jelly beans and smarties… i would say to press these in a little because we didn’t and it didn’t stick as well because it laid on to of the white choc.
Pop in the fridge to set a little and then cut it into slices (do this before its fully set to make it easier)
*don’t use a metal knife like i did, you might scratch the tin*
I’m no chocolate snob but you can tell when chocolate is good quality and this really was. I didn’t have high hopes because kids toys don’t usually come with nice chocolate but this really did. It was so good!
I love that you can reuse the tin and the instructions are so simple you could definitely do it again.
I might have to make a nutty one next!
What toppings would you put on a chocolate pizza?
Until the next post,
Are and Pops.
