Each day of December we will have a new blogger telling us this or that. Check out Day 11 if you missed it. Today is day 12 and we have Jade from Mummies Waiting.
I’m Jade, I’m a Disney and Christmas obsessed mum to two girls, living in Ely. I run Mummies Waiting where I help parents plan stress-free Disneyland Paris holidays so that they can make magical memories that last a lifetime. I also run The Blog Assistant , where I help bloggers make their Pinterest work for them so that they can work on their business.
Real or fake tree?
It’s always fake for my every year. I can’t ever afford the expense or deal with the thought of the needles. However, this year we will be having one of each. Our first real tree, I’m so excited!
Christmas pudding or chocolate log?
Christmas Pudding, how can anyone choose anything else? (To be completely honest tough, I’d be tucking into both!) We actually only own a microwave so that we can have Christmas pudding on Christmas Day. I’m NEVER going through the hell of trying to steam one again, it tasted like letdown in a bowl!
Sprouts or no sprouts?
Sprouts. They are yuck, but add chestnuts and bacon to them and you’ve got the ending to a Christmas dinner.
Presents in morning or afternoon?
Morning, do people actually wait until the afternoon? I’m don’t know how we wait until 7am!
Santa or Father Christmas?
We use both. Though Santa Clause is used more.
Ginger bread or sugar cookies?
Either will do, honestly I just like to eat!
Coloured lights or white lights?
White. If you asked me a few years ago, I’d have said coloured all the way, but now, there is something beautiful about the white lights on the tree.
Angel or star on top of tree?
Sorry, I’m akward, we have a fairy. Specifically the one from when I was a child (it took a LOT of obeying to hunt her down and she was 10x her original price!) We sing ‘I’m a fairy on top of the Christmas tree’ to her.
Hot chocolate or mulled wine?
Hot Chocolate. Specifically with ALLLLL the toppings; marshmallows, squirty cream, chocolate sprinkles, cherry sauce and a cherry.
How will you be celebrating Christmas?
With my husband and my two daughters. It will just be us on Christmas Day, but we will see family and have breakfast with Santa on the run up.
Come back tomorrow for DAY 13 and see who our next blogger is!
