The Boss Baby review DVD out now!

The Boss Baby is now out on DVD!

We didn’t manage to get to the cinema to see the film when it came out, I haven’t got a clue why? We’ve seen the trailer about 1000 times! Pops took a liking to The Boss Baby and would constantly want to watch the trailer for a giggle.

We have finally watched the film and It DID NOT disappoint.

It’s a fun and colourful animation that we’ve come to expect from DreamWorks animations. Full of cute and funny moments, we were hooked from the beginning.

The film goes on to show how having another baby affects the family, which is something I’ve worried about if we were to have another one. Turning from a family of 3 (where the one kid gets the sole attention) to a family of 4.

You get to know more about The Boss Baby and what he is there to do, let’s just say it involves being out cuted by PUPPIES.

The DVD has so many great special features to stretch the comedy further;

    • Babycorp and You
    • The Forever Puppy Infomercial
    • The Boss Baby and Tim’s Treasure Hunt Through Time
    • The Great Sibling Competition
    • Happy Accidents: The Deleted Scenes of The Boss Baby
    • Stills Gallery
    • Cookies are for Closers: Inside Babycorp

Pops’ has watched the film 3 times over the past few days (not the whole way through each time) and still giggles along. It’s definitely one of those films all the family can enjoy.

Have you seen the film? What was your favourite part? Mines the part when Tim asks for 3 stories, 5 hugs and his special song… it’s SO much like Pops at bedtime. The film has lots of situations which are all too familiar to parenthood. That’s why I think it’s such an appealing family film.

If you haven’t seen it you should, it’s cute, sweet and funny – all you need is some snacks and a comfy chair!

Until the next post,

Are and Pops.

We were sent the DVD for the purpose of this post, all thoughts and opinions are our own.

DreamWorks Animation’s THE BOSS BABY is available now on Digital Download,Blu-ray and DVD, from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
